Tapestry Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a company focused on developing proprietary therapies for
the treatment of cancer. We are also actively engaged in evaluating new therapeutic agents
and related technologies for in-licensing.
Tapestry's technical expertise is our ability to identify, chemically alter and produce
novel therapeutic compounds derived from natural product sources.
Tapestry has developed a novel third generation taxane, TPI 287. In December 2004 we filed
an IND application, and on January 21, 2005, we were cleared to proceed with clinical trials
by the FDA.
We commenced Phase I clinical trials of TPI 287 in May 2005 with an every 7 day dosing (“Q7D”)
study, and in January 2006, we commenced a second Phase I study with an alternative every 3
week dosing (“Q21D”) regimen.
